Courier driving course delivers results

Raad Imara has been living in Australia for more than 10 years, and after just a few weeks of taking part in the English for Courier Driving course he has finally secured his first official job – at Australia Post.
Raad said the course helped him with all aspects of the work and gave him the confidence to succeed in a role he loves.
The work involves packing items, driving and delivering parcels and letters – essential work during the pandemic.

Young leader to advocate for others in ambassador role

A Navitas English Fairfield student will be able to realise her mission of helping other young migrants and refugees after being accepted as a youth ambassador at MYAN (Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network).
Odette Siuofi, 20, said she was “very proud” to be chosen as a representative of MYAN’s NSW Youth Ambassador Network, which will provide her with leadership and professional development opportunities as well as the ability to engage in advocacy for young migrants and refugees at a national level.
“Living my dream”: Aieshee’s amazing journey with Navitas

Salma Meher Aieshee enrolled as a student at Navitas English to improve her communication, learn about Australian culture and connect with people from different backgrounds. She didn’t know it would help her achieve so much more – including overcoming a major phobia and landing her dream job.
Aieshee, 35, said Navitas English had been with her for every step of her settlement journey since migrating from Bangladesh to be with her new husband in March 2018.
