Transition to online
Important information about your classes
Navitas English continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, which is presenting unprecedented challenges for our communities.
While there have been no confirmed COVID-19 cases at our locations to date, Navitas English - with the support of the Australian Government - is preparing to move its programs completely online to ensure continuity of learning for our students and help ensure your health and wellbeing. From 6 April the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) and the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) will be delivered online, with this week being a transition period to support students. This arrangement will allow students to continue their learning online and engage with their teachers and other students.
For many years we have been using digital learning technology to support our face to face programs, and we are confident that the move to online delivery will allow uninterrupted learning. During this time, our colleges will remain open with limited staff onsite to answer any questions.
Students wishing to study online will receive instructions from their teacher for accessing their online class and can contact their local college for more information. During this transition period, we encourage students to visit their local college/site to test their access to online learning and get local support before the official start of online training.
We understand this is an uncertain time for staff, students and their families. We will continue working hard to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community, while continuing to deliver quality training for our students.
Some face-to-face classes will be available at select AMEP college locations, please contact us for more information
