Navitas English has moved the CTA program online in response to COVID-19. This means you’ll be able to learn crucial job-related training at home with the use of your own personal device such as a mobile phone, tablet or laptop. Contact your local college to find out how we can help you study online.
We are experts at delivering the CTA program - an Australian Government initiative through the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business.
The program helps you to recognise your skills and experience and how these apply to jobs in your area.
CTA is now offered online as a tailored employment preparation program focused on developing a mix of soft skills, technical skills and digital literacy. It is ideal for mature age participants wanting to get back into employment who don’t yet have the skills or confidence they need to adapt to a work environment that’s changing quickly.
While participating in the program, you will be working alongside other mature age job seekers, and have an experienced Facilitator providing career coaching and professional development.

You will meet with us before starting the program so we get to know you and understand your needs. We will complete an assessment with you, and tailor the course to best support you.
We will work with you to decide on the days and times for attending the program. The total course will take 8 weeks to complete.
Through the program we will be developing a Career Pathway Plan specifically for you, with steps for building your skills, marketing yourself to employers and ways you can boost your chances of getting the job you want.
With the right training, you’ll have the confidence to apply for your ideal job. Our Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program works with you to meet the needs of future employers, and lets you:
