Childcare student gains casual employment following work placement

Wendy migrated to Australia from Vietnam five years ago. She recently completed the childcare course as part of the Settlement Language Pathways to Employment and Training (SLPET) program and was offered casual employment following her work placement. She is currently working part time while continuing with her childcare studies.

The power of hope - a former Fairfield student's story

Maysoon and her family migrated to Australia in June 2013 from Iraq. Soon after, Maysoon commenced studying English at Navitas English Fairfield.
